The Community assistance program offers a range of programs and services to meet the basic needs of individuals and families in economic crisis.

Our staff is committed to providing confidential, dignified service. We work with you to develop an action plan addressing your financial needs. We focus on your strengths and help you develop the skills required to better manage your personal finances. We use our expertise in budgeting, fund administration, knowledge of government programs and systems, and advocacy to help you improve your financial situation. We offer emergency financial assistance, supportive counseling, help with budgeting as well as a range of other services.

JFS also has a bank of professionals prepared to offer their services either at a reduced fee or free for JFS clients.
