Kosher Food
Le Mercaz and the MADA Community Centre have joined forces to provide essential food services. The MADA Community Centre, which operates the only kosher soup kitchen in Quebec, offers meals and social activities to people in the Jewish community living on low incomes. It serves more than 250 meals each day and, during the Jewish holidays, close to 10,000 meals.

The MADA - Le Mercaz kosher food bank is at 6600 Côte des Neiges Rd. and is open for distribution of food baskets on a referral basis on Mondays from 4 to 6 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m.

To keep our food bank well stocked, we rely on the generosity of individuals and corporations.

Here are several ways you can help:
 - Participate in our annual Le Mercaz Food Roundup.

 - Join our Strategic Purchasing Initiatives (SPIN).

 - Get your synagogue, school or organization to adopt a specific food item and collect the item as you see fit - even through a mini food drive.

 - Donate your gently used clothing to help purchase food.

 - Buy tickets for Mont Tremblant during our Ski to Feed campaign.
